Lea Michele Gets 'Touching Tattoo To Celebrate The Life Of Cory Monteith'

Lea Michele has reportedly paid tribute to her late boyfriend and former Glee co-star Cory Monteith by getting a new tattoo dedicated to him.

The 27-year-old actress already keeps Cory close to her heart by wearing a silver necklace with the word "Cory" and is rarely seen without it, but has allegedly decided to get a more permanent tribute.

A source close to Lea told Star magazine: "It’s in a private place, with Cory’s initials in a black heart," the insider explained.

The source continued: "It’s something she did for herself and to always remember the love they shared."

The new inking will be the performer's 15th tattoo; and whilst it is hard to believe the star has so many, it is because most of them are incredibly small.

Lea has musical notes on her left shoulder, a cross on her left rib cage and on her right foot she is believed to a have butterfly.

The star also has two tattoos that pay homage to her time on Glee.

She a gold star on her left wrist, which is synonymous with her character of Rachel Berry and on her left foot the word "Imagine-" which is a matching inking with co-stars Jenna Ushkowitz Kevin McHale.

Along with the show's creator Ryan Murphy, Lea is making sure that Cory isn't forgotten.

On August 23rd, Lea showed fans via Twitter that it was a case of life imitating art, as she tweeted a picture of herself on the set of Glee, wearing a necklace with the name of Cory's character "Finn."

It's not just the cast of Glee who are showing their love and appreciation for the late actor, the Emmys will pay tribute to the star at this weekend's ceremony.
