Nicki Minaj: 'Cam'Ron Paved The Way For Me To Wear Pink'

Nicki Minaj has credited Cam'Ron for giving her the confidence to wear pink.

The Young Money rapper is known for wearing outrageous pink-inspired outfits and dressing up as a Barbie, but she says Dipset leader, Cam'Ron's substantial contribution to fashion in hip-hop gave her the inspiration to wear all-pink-everything.

"First dude, first dude to wear pink and drive a pink Range [Rover] and wear pink coats and all that and make it pop," Nicki told Tim Westwood TV.

"He paved the way for me to wear pink. Wow. Wow. Wow. We gotta bow down to Cam. D*mn, son. [Taking him on tour?] No, but I'll ask him to come out for a few days. I know he's working on his own stuff these days."
