Will Smith and Jaden shamed at the Razzies

Ahead of the Oscars it was not good news for Will Smith and his son Jaden after were named and shamed at the Golden Raspberry Awards.

The father and son team may have been regretting signing up to take part in sci-fi film After Earth, as it earned prizes in the least desired acting awards.

Set up to mark the very worst in films each year, the Golden Raspberry Awards, or the Razzies as they have become known, this year decided that the Worst Actor prize should go to young Jaden Smith. With his dad taking home the prize for Worst Supporting Actor.

And perhaps unsurprisingly after all this, they also took home the award for Worst Screen Combo. Hopefully that won't cause too many problems around the family dinner table.

But at least they were spared the embarrassment of winning Worst Picture, as that went to 'comedy' film Movie 43, which also took the prizes for Worst Director and Worst Screenplay.

One of the stranger winners on the night was Kim Kardashian, who won the award for Worst Supporting Actress prize for her role in Tyler Perry's film Temptation. Since Kim doesn't seem to be trying to carve a career as an actress it doesn't seem like it will be too much of a disappointment to her. Tyler Perry himself was also the unlikely winner of the Worst Actress prize for his role as a cross-dresser in the film A Madea Christmas.
