Next of kin search for man who died at Royal Preston Hospital six months ago

An appeal has been launched to track down the family of a Chorley man who died at in hospital six months ago.

Lancashire Constabulary is appealing to the public for help in tracing the next of kin on Anthony Holden. The 71-year-old passed away at Royal Preston Hospital in December 2023.

Despite enquiries being carried out, no next-of-kin have yet been identified. Anyone who can help the force identify and trace Mr Holden's next of kin should contact DC Will Hogan.

In a statement on social media yesterday (June 17), a force spokesperson said: "We are looking to trace the next of kin of Anthony Holden, 71, from Chorley, who died at the Royal Preston Hospital in December 2023.

"If you are next of kin or have information as to who might be, please contact DC Will Hogan on 01772 413375 or email 1680@lancashire.police.uk."
