Nicki Minaj splurges over $20,000 paying off dozens of her fans' student debt

Nicki Minaj has proved that she is arguably one of the best celebs out there after splurging thousands of dollars paying off her fans’ student debt.

The rapper stunned her millions of Twitter followers when she went on the spree, which started when she promoted a competition that would allow fans to hang out in the studio with her or visit her at the Billboard Music Awards.

Tweeting that she “makes enough money” to fly her fan to the states from any country in the world, one cheeky follower replied: “Well, you wanna pay for my tuition?” to which Nicki replied: “Show me straight A’s that I can verify with your school and I’ll pay it.

“Who wants to join THAT contest?!?! Dead serious. Should I set it up? [sic]”

Needless to say, the entire thing quickly snowballed and Nicki was inundated with desperate requests from struggling students to help them through school.

One hopeful fan wrote: “1k would be more than enough for my 3 summer classes help me Nic.” The star replied: “That’s it?

“I’ll send it tmrw. dm me ur bank info babe. Next! [sic]”

Nicki retweeted the requests that she agreed to pay, which included $6,000 for one fan’s classes, rent, and books, $2,000 for a follower’s graphics tablet and thousands more in student loans, equipment, and other debt.

In total, Nicki spent over $20,000 within about an hour, telling the lucky fans to direct message her the proof that they need the money for school and their bank details, saying that she will make the payments later today.

The star rounded off her Twitter spree by telling her fans that she’ll pay off more of their debt in a couple of months, writing: “Ok u guys. It’s been fun.

“Let me make those payments tmrw then see if I have any money left. I’ll do some more in a month or 2. [sic]”
