About Those "Deleted" Bridgerton Sex ScenesNetflix

Not sure if you've noticed, but Bridgerton fans have become convinced that the show deleted several intimate moments between Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Featherington. Like, convinced to the point where there's an actual change.org petition with tens of thousands of signatures. But it looks like the rumors are simply...not true!

Nicola Coughlan herself confirmed as much, reportedly responding to a fan in the comments of the below Instagram with "This is just a rumor. I think you got all the Polin we had but there's lots of BTS still to share."

Her comment comes amid executive producer Tom Verica hitting up the comments of this (👇) Instagram post with "Not sure where this all came from but these claims are false. The supposed scenes... don't exist."

Kay, so while there clearly aren't any deleted Polin moments, a "whole scene" in which Will Mondrich and Alice Mondrich "do it everywhere" was cut. Actor Martins Imhangbe confirmed this to Digital Spy, saying the show wanted to depict Will and Alice ~enjoying~ their new home: "There's something about coming to the house then–now that we've put aside all the rules, we kind of enjoy the house, you know?"

The actor also explained that it's possible these scenes were "saved for another season," teasing, "I think that there's something [in] the show that might be coming down the line, but it would be good to see a married couple hold that [passionate] space too."

Come through, Netflix!
