Nicole Scherzinger Hits Out At The X Factor

Nicole Scherzinger might have a brand new judging gig in the form of new Sky1 show Bring The Noise, but it seems like she might still be a little miffed about not being an X Factor judge anymore.

In a recent interview, the Poison singer appeared to throw some shade at the current judging panel, and implied that the show isn’t what it used to be.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, Nicole got a bit cheeky about her former employer, claiming that the Saturday night staple was on the wane:

“Everybody knows X Factor is the biggest thing in this country… or it was.

“I always said my panel was so strong. I miss my fellow judges.”

Miaow.

Scherzy appeared as a judge in the 2012 and 2013 series, with her act James Arthur winning the show in 2012.

She also acted as a guest judge in 2010 – and claimed responsibility for putting little-known pop act One Direction together, saying at a 2013 awards ceremony that,“When you have a mind like mine, and you knew that it would work. Come on, I’m not going to take credit, but I’m going to take credit.”

Speaking about her role on Bring The Noise, the singer said the new show gave her more creativity – and was a lot more fun.

“It’s so different being a team captain on a panel to being a judge, I love it because I’m not just sitting behind a desk judging people.

"I’m actually interactive, on my feet, cracking jokes and playing games with people, being off the cuff, singing and doing impressions.

"I couldn’t express how I’ve hit the jackpot for myself. If I could magic stuff in my head it would be Bring The Noise. I can’t believe I get paid for this.”

Sounds like a blast, eh?
