Nine people charged following discovery of cannabis grow in Cleethorpes

Nine people have been charged following the discovery of a cannabis grow in Cleethorpes.

Police were called to Neville Street at around 12.20am on Monday (June 24) following reports of a burglary in progress at an address. Upon attendance, officers discovered a window had been smashed to gain access to the property.

Inside the address, police discovered a suspected cannabis grow and electricity being abstracted dangerously. The area was subsequently cordoned off to allow for the plants to be seized.

Three people were arrested at the scene on suspicion of burglary and being concerned in the production of cannabis. A further five people were arrested later on Monday.

The following nine people have now been charged:

  • Levenson Charles, 49, of Warmington Close, London, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis and burglary with intent to steal.

  • Diego Gomes, 22, of Frances Road, Birmingham, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis and burglary with intent to steal.

  • Shakeel Greenspan, 27, of Redwood Grove, Bedford, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis and burglary with intent to steal.

  • Jordan Heaton, 23, of Seaton Crescent, Nottingham, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis and burglary with intent to steal.

  • Besnik Imeraj, 45, of no fixed abode, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis and burglary with intent to steal.

  • Nelson Mubiru, 38, of no fixed abode, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis and burglary with intent to steal.

  • Rikkyel Scott, 26, of no fixed abode, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis and burglary with intent to steal.

  • Michael Southall, 35, of Heneage Road, Grimsby, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis and burglary with intent to steal.

  • Walter Magume, 29, of Stornaway Road, Leicester, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cannabis and burglary with intent to steal.

All nine were remanded into custody to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
