No One Heard Anything Obama Just Said Because His Tan Suit Was So Loud

President Obama gave an important press conference today and even took questions from the press, but all of this was overshadowed by the fact that Obama debuted one of the ugliest suits in the history of this great nation.

The gist of Obama's statement was that we don't have a strategy to defeat ISIL in Syria yet. He also touched on Ukraine/Russia relations and the child migrant crisis. But instead of debating the validity of our foreign policy in the Middle East, Eastern Europe or Central America, Twitter abandoned its usually academic tone to focus on whether the tan (or beige) suit was awful, fittingly summery or a sign to our enemies abroad that we're weak.

On the one hand, this is just a suit, and goes to show that Twitter is a place where serious ideas go to die. On the other hand, what if that suit means more than we think it means?

Does anyone remember what Obama said? 

This suit definitely doesn't have bipartisan support. 

Exactly.

Based on today's events, if the president announced he was having an affair with his campaign manager while wearing a short's suit, no one would know until the next day. 

Our allies won't be impressed

Let's call it fashion diplomacy. 

It says, "Whatever your problem is, it's gonna have to wait until after Labor Day."

If that's even what the press conference was about. Who knows?

As always, the mainstream liberal media is coming to the president's defense.
