Norwood Financial posts 4Q profit

HONESDALE, Pa. (AP) _ Norwood Financial Corp. (NWFL) on Friday reported net income of $2.3 million in its fourth quarter.

The bank, based in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, said it had earnings of 56 cents per share.

The holding company for Wayne Bank posted revenue of $10.9 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $9.9 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $6.7 million, or $1.73 per share. Revenue was reported as $33.8 million.

Norwood Financial shares have climbed nearly 8 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has increased 34 percent in the last 12 months.
