Notorious Mexican Female Assassin Is Turned Over To The Police By Her Boyfriend

An infamous Mexican assassin has been arrested after her boyfriend turned her in.

Melissa Margarita Calderon Ojeda, 30, known as “La China”, is said to be the head of a 300-strong gang and is believed to be behind 150 murders in the past ten years.

She has reportedly been captured by police after her boyfriend, who was her second-in-command, gave information to government agencies in order to procure himself a reduced sentence.

She is thought to have been behind a number of recent murders in Baja California Sur.

Her boyfriend, Hector Pedro Camarena Gomez, known as “El Chino”, was caught by police, leading to her own arrest on September 19 at Los Cabos Airport.

He reportedly brought the authorities to a mass grave of her victims, while also sharing a list of corrupt police officers that were working for her.

“Thanks to the exchange of intelligence and information between all the integrated agencies of the state, we were able to detain her in a totally clean manner, without a shot being fired,” the secretary general of Sur California, Alvaro de la Pena, told Fox News Latino.

Calderon Ojeda became involved in crime when she started dating a member of the Damaso cartel in 2005.

She is believed to have been one of the few female cartel leaders.
