Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has named his Nottingham Forest team to face Manchester City in this afternoon’s crunch clash.

The Reds remain one point above the bottom three ahead of today’s match, after 18th-placed Luton Town lost on Saturday. But although their Premier League fate is still in their own hands with four games to go, Nuno’s side know they are in a precarious position.

The build-up to their meeting with City has been dominated by the fallout from last weekend’s controversial 2-0 defeat at Everton. Forest had three penalty calls waved away at Goodison Park and made their feelings clear with a furious statement at full-time.

Nuno makes two changes to his XI from last Sunday’s loss on Merseyside as Willy Boly and Anthony Elanga replace Gio Reyna and Nicolas Dominguez. And it appears there is also a change in formation, with the hosts set to go with a back three.

Boly returns from injury to line up alongside Moussa Niakhate and Murillo in the defence. Neco Williams and Ola Aina will be the wing-backs, ahead of goalkeeper Matz Sels.

Danilo keeps his place in midfield, and it could be that Morgan Gibbs-White occupies a deeper role. Elanga and Callum Hudson-Odoi will provide the attacking support for striker Chris Wood.

The bench will be made up of Matt Turner, Ibrahim Sangare, Harry Toffolo, Gio Reyna, Ryan Yates, Divock Origi, Gonzalo Montiel, Andrew Omobamidele and Rodrigo Ribeiro.

Forest: Sels; Boly, Niakhate, Murillo; Williams, Danilo, Gibbs-White, Aina; Elanga, Wood, Hudson-Odoi. Subs: Turner, Sangare, Toffolo, Reyna, Yates, Origi, Montiel, Omobamidele, Ribeiro.
