Yahoo News Nottingham Forest players issued with important instruction as Manchester City await
Nottingham Forest today welcome champions Manchester City to the City Ground - and they're aiming to at least repeat the feat of last year when Steve Cooper's team held Pep Guardiola's men to a 1-1 draw. On that occasion Chris Wood scored late on to cancel out Bernardo Silva's first half opener.
Fast forward over a year, and Forest need all the points they can get, irrespective of the quality of the opposition. City are still very much live contenders to defend their title and clinch a fourth straight Premier League, but Forest can put a spanner in their works - and, more importantly, aid their own survival bid after Luton Town were defeated on Saturday.
Forest have Sheffield United - relegated on Saturday - Chelsea and Burnley on the horizon, but City represents another opportunity to put points on the board. Supporters, though, want to see fight befitting a side who are battling against relegation - despite the opponent - from the very first whistle. Fans on social media are also demanding that an atmosphere is generated to benefit the hosts...
