Noughties boyband Blue to bring greatest hits tour to Poole

POPULAR noughties boyband Blue have announced that they will bring their greatest hits tour to Poole this Summer.

Poole Lighthouse has announced that 'one of Britain's biggest ever pop acts', Blue, will play in its concert hall on September 29.

The band will visit as part of its greatest hits tour to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

They said: “As this is a theatre tour, we wanted it to have a different kind of feel – welcoming, more intimate with the chance to sing our biggest hits and share stories with our fans who have been with us for so many years now.

"We can’t wait to put this show together and get it out there!”

As Blue, Antony Costa, Duncan James, Lee Ryan and Simon Webbe have sold 15 million records worldwide and in the UK have had three number one albums, 10 top 10 singles and have previously performed with Elton John and Stevie Wonder.

The band also performed for the United Kingdom in Eurovision 2011 performing 'I Can', finishing fifth overall.

Among their music career, members have also appeared in several TV shows including Dancing On Ice and Hollyoaks.
