EastEnders fans are already preparing themselves for bucket loads of tears later this year when the Walford soap does the unthinkable by killing off Peggy Mitchell.

But it’ll be a bittersweet ending for one cast member in particular—the newest Mitchell on the block, Tilly Keeper!

The EastEnders newcomer, who plays Louise Mitchell, has only just joined the show and can’t believe her luck that she’ll get to work with Dame Barbara Windsor, even if it is very briefly.

“I cannot tell you how excited I am for Barbara, she is like a dream. It’ll be exciting to have the Mitchells back together,” she told Yahoo Celebrity at the National Television Awards last night.

Louise returned to Albert Square earlier this month with a bang and Tilly has already received rave reviews from fans on Twitter.

The actress is obviously thrilled by the great reaction she’s received.

She said, “They love sassy Louise and I love sassy Louise! The fans are very loyal, they’ve really taken to her. It’s been really nice. There’s a lot of, ‘Louise has grown up!’ You’ve only got little snippets of Louise. There’s a lot more.”

The 18-year-old actress also spilled the beans on her first day on set, revealing her very first scene was with EastEnders legend Steve McFadden, who plays her dad Phil Mitchell.

No pressure then!

“You never think it’ll happen, he’s so professional, it was like an out of body experience — it was my first day, my first scene, and I couldn’t ask for a better day,” she said.
