Nuneaton town centre stabbing update issued by police

Police have issued an update on their investigations into a stabbing in Nuneaton town centre. A man, who has not been identified but is aged in his 50s, had to be taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries after being stabbed in Dugdale Street on Tuesday night (April 30).

Following this, two people were arrested on suspicion of GBH assault. A 41-year-old woman from Nuneaton and a 60-year-old man of no fixed abode were both taken into custody.

A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said that both the man and woman were questioned. They have both been released on bail until mid July.

But investigations into the incident are ongoing and officers are still appealing for anyone with any information to come forward. Anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage can either contact police online via its website here or by calling 101, quoting incident 353 of April 30.
