Oakland Zoo Mountain Lion Cub Relaxes With Some 'Hammock Time'

Oakland Zoo’s foster mountain lion cub Willow was seen enjoying “hammock time” in footage posted on April 25.

Willow and his sister, Maple, came to Oakland Zoo in November, after their mother was killed in a road collision, the Association of Zoos and Aquariums said.

The pair were the 25th and 26th mountain lions rescued as part of the zoo’s rescue and recovery program.

The cubs will not stay at Oakland Zoo permanently, the zoo said, adding that the California Department of Fish and Wildlife is working to find them a “furrever home”. Credit: Oakland Zoo via Storyful
