Ocean's 8: First official image of Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett and Rihanna

Months after the first images from Ocean's Eight set leaked online, Warner Bros. has graced the Internet with an official first-look at the film.

From left to right, the image features Sandra Bullock (the group’s leader Debbie Ocean), Cate Blanchett (Lou), Rihanna (Nine Ball), Mindy Kaling (Amita), Awkwafina (Constance), Helena Bonham Carter (Rose), Anne Hathaway (Daphne Kluger), and Sarah Paulson (Tammy).

The studio also revealed a snippet of the film’s plot: “In Summer 2018, the tide will turn as Debbie Ocean attempts to pull off the heist of the century at New York City’s star-studded annual Met Gala. Her first stop is to assemble the perfect crew.”

Earlier this month, Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner revealed they will feature in the aforementioned Met Gala scene.

Matt Damon, who appeared in the original films, will reprise his role as Linus Caldwell: the likes of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Casey Affleck have yet to be confirmed. James Corden, meanwhile, will also star in the film which has been filming since October.

Ocean’s Eight reaches cinemas Summer 2018.
