There’s often a question mark over how popular Donald Trump actually is, but one thing is sure – not as popular as his wife.
Melania Trump is officially more popular than her US President husband, according to YouGov Ratings data.
The data looked at how First Ladies and their spouses fare in the court of public opinion and when it comes to the current POTUS and FLOTUS, Melania comes out on top.
Just 15 months into being First Lady, Melania is ahead of her husband in the ratings, viewed positively by 40% of people as opposed to the 35% who see him positively.
She is described as the 21st most popular public figure and 7th most famous, according to the ratings.
Her popularity could be due in part to the former model’s popularity with the opposite sex – with 47% positive opinion, Melania is more popular among men than among women (33%), YouGov found.
