Ola Jordan Claims Strictly Come Dancing Stopped Her Wearing Catsuits Because They Were ‘Too Sexy’

Strictly Come Dancing professional, Ola Jordan, believes the show stopped her wearing catsuits during her dances because they were ‘too sexy’.

Ola started her Strictly career back in 2006, but decided to leave after the 2015 series.

Her husband, James Jordan, also debuted on the BBC dancing show in 2006, but bowed out after the 2013 series.

Speaking about her time on the show, Ola explained that while she enjoyed wearing her gorgeous catsuits, it seems those running the show had a different opinion.

She told The Mirror: “I loved wearing the catsuits but after a while they stopped me. I think they thought they were too sexy.”

A source added that Ola was angry about the decision at the time, believing it was a fix tactic.

They claimed: “At the time Ola was outraged, she thought it was a fix and another example of how they manipulate votes.

“She felt like the BBC were holding her back by not letting her wear the catsuit again. They clearly felt it was an unfair advantage and were manipulating the vote themselves in their own way.”

However, a Strictly source has dismissed the claims, saying: “This sounds like sour grapes. Ola of all people knows that you top the leader board by doing the best dance, not by wearing a catsuit. After all, the year she won Strictly she didn’t wear a catsuit.”
