Olly Murs took time out from his rehearsals at the Swansea.com Stadium last week to pop by city restaurant Founders & Co where it seemed there was an Olly-themed night dedicated to the pop star. Now we know that the Dear Darlin' singer was surprising Monmouthsire mother Tracy who was the recipient of The One Show's regular feature One Big Thank You.

While the segment was filmed last week when Olly was supporting Take That in the city on their This Life tour fans of the singer finally found out what he was doing at the restaurant surrounded by masks of his own face and a fake menu filled with dishes inspired with his songs.

The One Show was surprising Olly super-fan Tracy after being contacted by her pals and parents who use the Ready, Steady, Go club she created, in her area, to support families of children with autism. At first she had a phone call with him, as he pretended to be checking up on the night's progress, but then Olly popped out and surprised a speechless Tracy who was already over the moon at talking to her idol.

"There is a reason I'm here today," said the pop star, who Tracy thought was simply there to check up on the restaurant theme. Olly continued: "I'm here on behalf of The One Show for the One Big Thank you and it's for you Tracy for the Ready, Steady, Go Club and all the amazing things you do."

Videos of Alex Jones and Christine McGuinness also played alongside the Ready, Steady, Go family showing their appreciation. An emotional Tracy said it was "unreal" as she was bowled over by the surprise.

Tracy and her friends had selfies with Olly and the star also invited them along to the Take That gig, which took place on June 6, as his VIP guests. The Ready, Steady Go Charity aims to develop social interaction and friendships by providing fun opportunities through supported play for young children with autism.
