ONE of Herefordshire’s cheapest homes is on sale right now, perfect for any first-time buyers.

A property at the Claytons in Bridstow, Ross-on-Wye, is currently on the market for £160,000 with Archer and Co, making it one of the cheapest houses in the county that is not a retirement home, shared ownership property, or holiday home.

The village of Bridstow has a primary school and a respected comprehensive school in the nearby town of Ross-On-Wye. The M50 motorway is easily accessible, creating good transport links to Birmingham, Bristol and Cardiff via connecting motorways.

This two-bedroom maisonette is accessed through a personal door that leads to the entrance hallway and stairs. This leads to the living accommodation where there are doors to the lounge, kitchen, two bedrooms and family bathroom, says Archer and Co.

The lounge is “well proportioned” and features a fireplace and window that overlooks the “far reaching views”. An alcove above the fireplace houses a storage cupboard.

The kitchen has multiple built-in appliances with wall, base and drawer units. There is room for a table and chairs and even access to the gardens.

Both bedrooms are described as being a “generous size” and the master bedroom has two windows which let in streams of light. The bathroom has a WC, basin, fitted shower cubicle and partly tiled walls.

There is a driveway with double gates that lead to the gardens which are enclosed by fencing and walling.
