David Nicholls' beloved novel One Day is set to be adapted for the small screen thanks to Netflix.
The rom-com was first adapted for the silver screen in 2011, with Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess taking on the roles of leads Emma and Dexter. But now it's time for a new take on the story to be brought to the audiences around the world.

Netflix has shared details about the TV show, including when it is expected to be released and what viewers should expect from it. Here is everything you need to know.
When is One Day being released on Netflix?
One Day will be released on Netflix on 8 February, 2024. The 12-episode series will be released in full on the streaming platform so that viewers can binge watch it to their hearts content.
Who stars in One Day?
Ambika Mod and Leo Woodall take on the lead roles of Emma Morley and Dexter Mayhew in the series. The latter is known for his role in The White Lotus while the former is best known for her breakout role in the BBC medical drama This is Going to Hurt which earned her huge critical acclaim for her performance as young doctor Shruti Acharya.
The pair will be joined in the cast by Eleanor Tomlinson who takes on the role of Sylvie, Essie Davis as Alison Mayhew, and Tim McInnerny as Stephen Mayhew.
Other key cast members include Toby Stephens and Joley Richardson, who take on the roles of Lionel and Helen Cope, respectively.
