With the rock gig of the year about to kick off smack dab in the centre of Cardiff, Foo Fighters fans are already soaking up the sunshine, grabbing some merchandise and probably a few beers ahead of the Everything or Nothing At All tour date at the Principality Stadium.

The fan advice from the stadium and how to get there is always super helpful on accessing the gig and what you can or can't take in, as well as show times and support - more on that here. But in the Foo Fighters' guide there's one line of advice, sensible as it very much is, that fans are being asked to adhere to tonight.

The stadium's behaviour expectation states: "Crowd surfing and moshing are not advised at this performance." Crowd surfing is very much unadvisable, ask anyone who's been dropped on their head at a gig. And moshing can get out of control, sure.

All we ask is that people follow advice and remain as safe as possible while rocking out and having the time of their life. Foo Fighters themselves are "ready to rock", sharing Instagram posts telling fans "see you tomorrow" after their final London show. Other advice given to fans attending the Principality Stadium gig is to stay hydrated as the weather is due to be very warm during today, Tuesday.

The roof of the stadium will be open for the show and organisers have said free water dispensers will be available inside the arena and have told fans to make sure they keep hydrated as temperatures soar. Forecasters have said that Wales will experience a "warm and muggy" night on Tuesday. Follow live updates here throughout the day as Foo Fighters get set to perform.

Other tips for entering and enjoying the show include making sure your phone is fully charged as that is your ticket (unless otherwise stated) and making sure your bag sizes are no larger than A4 Size (30cm x20cm x20cm). Searches will be in place and collapsible bottles will be permitted in the middle and upper tiers but must be empty at the point of entry and tops removed. However, no bottles are allowed in the lower tier and standing areas.
