Orange is the New Black star Yael Stone alleges Geoffrey Rush peeped at her in shower

Hollywood actor Geoffrey Rush has denied fresh sexual misconduct claims including dancing naked in front of an actress.

The Oscar-winner, 67, is accused of sending Orange Is The New Black star Yael Stone sexually-charged texts when they were appearing in the play Diary Of A Madman in Sydney in 2010.

She says he stripped and danced in front of her, and once used a shaving mirror to peep into the shower of their shared dressing room.

Rush today denied he had acted inappropriately. In a statement released by his lawyer he said some of the claims were “incorrect”, adding: “Clearly Yael has been upset on occasion by the spirited enthusiasm I generally bring to my work. I sincerely and deeply regret if I have caused her any distress.”

In interviews with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and The New York Times, Stone said she believed the mirror incident was “meant with a playful intention”.

Rush is involved in a defamation case in Australia against the newspaper that first published claims he “inappropriately touched” Eryn Jean Norvill on stage in 2015, a claim he denies. The court has not reached a verdict.
