A restaurant in a west Suffolk town has been taken over by new owners who are looking to bring "a brand new experience of delicious bottomless pizza to your table".

Slice, a bottomless pizza restaurant, will open at the premises of Dough&Co in Abbeygate Street in Bury St Edmunds in late July.

At this new restaurant, customers will pay a flat price to be served by waiters who will walk around with an unlimited variety of freshly made pizza.

Customers will also be able to order pizzas on demand if they require and there will be a separate cocktail, drinks, wine and dessert menu.

The new owners will take over from the traditional pizza restaurant, Dough&Co, which has moved into the premises in 2021.

The independent pizza company announced the news on social media in a post that read: "Sit back and relax, order a drink and the staff will bring you over a slice of pizza. The pizza will then keep flowing... and flowing.

"We offer unique flavour combinations, along with the classics! - Our tag line is “The Bottomless Pizza Co” – A golden ticket for any pizza lover!"

"At the moment we are just trying to get everything ready for the rebrand and run the current restaurant, but it's going to be great when it all comes together!"

Mr Teixeira added: "We've got something different to offer with our set up and we think people will love it.

"Plus, there are some new pizzas that we think people will enjoy, like our chilli honey chicken, ham and mascarpone and three meat pizzas."

"We are passionate about food and we believe that this will show in the product."
