The Oxford Street Christmas lights are already up and people aren't quite sure how they feel about it

The Oxford Street Christmas lights have caused a stir already this year – after being put up more than 80 days before Christmas.

The lights caused a flurry on social media, with a mixed reaction from people about the timing of their installation.

For many it was just a bit too early. Scott Bryan pointed out the date, tweeting: “Oxford Street is once again putting up their Christmas lights. It’s October 3rd.”, while Justin Cash said: “Christmas lights already? Really Oxford Street?”
