Paddy McGuinness was paid a public tribute by his ex-wife Christine as he shared a reflective message on Father's Day. The former couple announced their separation back in 2022 after 11 years of marriage.

Christine, 36, and Paddy, 50, however, continue to maintain a strong relationship as they live together while co-parenting their three children - twins Leo and Penelope, 10, and Felicity, aged seven - and still live together in their Cheshire family home.

On Sunday (June 16), Bolton-born Paddy took to social media with a post in recognition of Father's Day after making his BBC Radio 2 show all about dads and father figures to mark the annual occasion.

On social media, the dad-of-three shared a post picture post which said: "Father. A son's first hero. A daughter's first love," alongside which he wrote to his fans and followers: "To all those Dads who put themselves last. The good Dads and stepdads here and those who have passed away.

"The working Dads, the tired Dads and the stressed Dads… it’s all worth it. For when you get those wonderful hugs, hear that gorgeous laughter and receive the unconditional love from your children, that really is the best. PS lest we not forget the new socks and 'world’s best Dad' mugs. Gentlemen, happy Father’s Day. #FathersDay."

In response to the post, model and TV personality Christine showed her support for Paddy as she commented: “Happy Daddy’s Day from our three little loves.”

And his fans and followers were also keen to respond. @made.by.kerry said: "And to you Paddy, I hope you have a special day." @ruthprowton1978 commented: "Beautifully said!! Happy Father’s Day to you all. Hope you have a special day Paddy."
