A palm tree burst into flames after it was hit by lightning in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Thursday, August 4, according to reports from the scene.

Monsoon storms hit Phoenix, bringing heavy rain, thunder, and lightning to the area on the morning of Thursday, August 4, according to local news reports.
