Pamela Anderson’s Loose Women interview labelled ‘peak 2021 energy’ as star stays in bed

Pamela Anderson and her husband Dan Hayhurst surprised the Loose Women panel by giving a live interview while they were still in bed.

The couple, who got hitched on Christmas Eve, appeared via videolink on Friday's show – but the hosts weren’t expecting the pair to be in the bedroom.

Nadia Sawalha introduced the segment by explaining that the couple have enjoyed a whirlwind mid-pandemic romance, after meeting early last year.

The camera then cut to Anderson’s Canadian home, where the duo were seemingly filming their part of the interview on a smartphone.

“We haven’t left [our bed] since Christmas Eve,” Anderson quipped, before revealing that she met Hayhurst when he was working on her property.

Their unconventional set-up baffled and amused fans, with one labelling it "peak 2021 energy".

The Twitter user wrote: "Pamela Anderson doing an interview on #LooseWomen from her bed completely unprepared is peak 2021 energy."

Since first meeting last year, the couple have spent almost all of their time at Anderson’s home.

Anderson told the Loose Women panel: “We prefer to be by ourselves but it would have been nice to have some people here.

“Our [wedding] witnesses were the first nation’s people who came to do our blessing and get rid of our demons.”

Her husband added: “I don't think we're coming out of lockdown. I think we'll stay in lockdown forever.”

Their nuptials came a year after Anderson was reported to have married film producer Jon Peters for 12 days, which she later denied.

Her first marriage was to Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee (from 1995 to 1998) and she was later married to Kid Rock from 2006 until 2007.

Anderson’s romantic history also includes two marriages to poker player Rick Salomon.
