Parking restrictions to be in place during Gourock Highland Games

SEVERAL streets in Inverclyde will be subject to parking restrictions this weekend as Gourock Highland Games returns.

The event will take place at Battery Park on Sunday.

No waiting, loading or unloading will be permitted on Greenock’s Esplanade between its junctions with Eldon Street and North Street.

Similar restrictions will be in place on Cardwell Road and Manor Crescent, as well as Fort Matilda Place.

The limits will apply between the hours of 8am and 6pm.
