Part of country park destroyed during blaze
A blaze has badly damaged part of a popular beauty spot.
Firefighters were called to Brandon Country Park at about 4pm on Friday.
Brandon Fire Station said they were called to a fire in the park.
On arrival crews found around 20 square metres of undergrowth on fire.
Crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.
Earlier this year a huge part of the country park was destroyed in a fire.
Firefighters were called to forest fire of approximately 10,000sq metres of undergrowth and trees alight.
Appliances from Brandon, Mildenhall, Thetford, Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds were in attendance.
