Pedro has moved to allay fears over an injury by insisting "everything is OK" after being forced off during Chelsea's 1-0 win at PAOK.

The midfielder collided with opposition goalkeeper Alexandros Paschakalis in stoppage time after being pushed by Omar El Kaddouri, prompting concerns over an arm injury.

Chelsea had used all three substitutes but Pedro was unable to continue, leaving the Blues to see out the final minutes with 10 men as they kicked off their Europa League campaign with a win.

Manager Maurizio Sarri insisted after the game that Pedro's injury was "probably not very serious" and the player has now appeared to confirm no lasting damage was made.

He wrote, in English and Spanish, on Instagram: "Good start in the Europa League. Everything’s OK despite the incident at the end of the game. Come on Blues!!"

Chelsea are next in action on Sunday as they face West Ham at London Stadium before travelling to Anfield for a League Cup third-round clash with Liverpool.
