Two elderly men sneaked out of their nursing home to go to the world’s biggest metal music festival.

The pensioners were eventually found by police at 3am in the middle of the Wacken Open Air festival in Germany.

The festival in the northern German town of Wacken attracts 75,000 metal fans – as well as the two aging rockers.

Police said the two men were found “disorientated and dazed” at the event.

They were ushered into a taxi, which was given a police escort back to the nursing home.
