New images have been released of a masked man wanted in connection with an armed robbery. The suspect, armed with a knife, grabbed bags of cash from a security guard outside Sainsbury's on Jelbert Way in Penzance before escaping on a moped, Devon and Cornwall Police has said.

Officers were called to the scene at around 10.18am on Thursday, June 20. It was reported that a masked man approached a security van, grabbed bags of cash from the guard and fled the scene. The police force issued several CCTV images yesterday in their search to identify the man and further pictures have since been released.

The man is described as being over 6ft tall and was wearing a black North Face coat, black trousers, a black face covering and a black bike helmet. The moped was described as small and black and a red and black storage box on the rear.
