People's Vote March: Which celebrities back Brexit and which want to Remain in the EU?

From stalwart Remainers to die-hard Leave voters, a whole host of famous faces have gone public with their Brexit opinions.

Sir Patrick Stewart is just one of a number of celebrities to have weighed in on the debate, backing the People's Vote march through London on Saturday.

The actor is one of many stars who have voiced their thoughts on Brexit as debate intensifies in the lead-up to the UK's withdrawal from the EU.

So with just one day to go until 100,000 people march on Parliament, we take a look at which celebrities back Remain - and which want to leave.

Who wants to remain in the EU?

The X Men actor has not been shy in coming forward with his anti-Brexit views and has supported calls for a second referendum.

Delia Smith

Celebrity chef Delia Smith previously told the Standard that she thought Brexit is a "dog's dinner" and is one of the stars speaking at the People's Vote march.

Steve Coogan

Alan Partridge star Steve Coogan has called Brexit a "looming disaster" and has funded coaches for people to travel from Manchester to London on Saturday.

The two Grand Tour presenters previously said that Britain remaining in the EU was one of only three things the pair could agree on.

The ex-spin doctor is another celebrity who supports the People's Vote and was among the crowd at the "Wooferendum March" earlier this month

Olly Alexander

The Years and Years frontman has called the Government's Brexit plan "extremely harmful" and said he will be at Saturday's rally.

The renowned actor and staunch Brexiteer said he would rather be poor outside the EU than rich inside it.

Roger Daltrey

The Who frontman Roger Daltrey has slammed the EU, arguing that it is “undemocratic, highly dysfunctional”.

Sol Campbell

Ex-Arsenal and Tottenham defender Sol Campbell once said: "“If we had proper control of who can come in and out of Britain we could attract the best wherever they come from.”

The entrepreneur has said that he is "tending to favour the Brexit option" and tweeted in 2014: "We must leave the EU".

Sir Ian Botham

The cricketer has been very vocal about the EU, previously slamming it as a "racket". He has called for Brits to “reclaim our basic sovereignty, the power to decide for ourselves”.

Dame Joan Collins

The Dynasty actress is an ardent supporter of Brexit, previously saying Britain is overcrowded and predicting that leaving is "going to be very good for us".

Elizabeth Hurley

The actor explained her decision by saying: "If it means we can go back to using decent lightbulbs and choose high-powered hairdryers and vacuum cleaners if we so wish, I'm joining Brexit for sure."
