People are just finding out what's at the bottom of Ben & Jerry's ice cream tubs

People have been left utterly astonished after finding out what lurks at the bottom of their Ben and Jerry's ice cream tubs, though some reckon it's a bit far-fetched.

Mum Lena Boston has taken to TikTok to reveal the 'hidden' surprise she insists is tucked away beneath certain flavours of the ice cream - as she encourages folk to inspect the packaging before binning it.

Her TikTok video, racking up over 2.3 million views, has sparked quite the conversation, with loads confessing they were clueless about the 'hidden' compartment.

In her viral video, she pens: "This is why you should always check the bottom of your Ben and Jerry's tubs."

Following this, she's seen purchasing Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie from Target, taking it back home, and digging into the ice cream.

After finishing, she cleans the tub and pries open the bottom part with a knife, unveiling two bite-sized fudge brownie chocolates. While some TikTokers expressed their shock at the find, others are sceptical, suggesting she placed the chocolates there for the sake of the video.

One TikToker commented: "What. Eh. Why are they hiding it? The amount of uneaten, unclaimed fudge brownies I never knew I had." Another added: "If you work on making the cut look more real then maybe it would actually fool someone."

A third user exclaimed: "Not me thinking it was gonna be like Willy Wonka's golden ticket and cursing myself for never checking until I saw the end."

While another chimed in with: "This is like when everyone said there was a spoon in the Nutella lid." One more was flabbergasted, commenting: "I beg your finest pardon?!"

However, TikTok user @keilys19 put the claim to the test and ended up debunking the viral claim. She shared her experience, saying: "Ok, so I love Ben and Jerry's and I have to try it so..." In her video, she eagerly digs into a tub of Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie, mirroring the actions from the earlier clip.

Yet, upon reaching the bottom of the tub, she finds nothing but disappointment. She continued: "So I completely ripped it open because this is freaking fake. Like, where could it possibly be? This was definitely cap but now I have an excuse to eat ice cream so it's a win for me."
