Perez Hilton mocked for blue glitter beard and turban outfit at the Oscars
Red carpet fashion is as much an Oscars talking point as who won the awards, so Perez Hilton made sure he would be the name on everyone’s lips without even having a nomination by donning an eye-catching outfit.
The celebrity blogger and reality star appeared as a guest on Good Morning Britain’s special Hollywood broadcast in a blue and silver sequinned suit with matching turban, finishing off his look by dying his beard blue and adding sparkles to it.
Asked about his outfit choice by hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid, he explained: “I’d rather be on a worst dressed list than no list at all.”
He added: “I bought it in India, so it’s authentic.”
Hilton needn’t have worried, as viewers were certainly talking about him thanks to his suit and beard.

Along with Mel B and Jane Seymour, he discussed the best and worst outfits from the 91st Academy Awards.
Mel B seemed to agree with Hilton’s line of thinking, as she said: “I don’t really care what people say about me, but it’s always nice to be photographed and be on a list, be it best or worst.”

However, actress Seymour, 68, managed a stealth boast, saying: “I’m lucky because I happen to be the same size as runway models, just a foot shorter. So this (her dress) would be a runway sample, just tacked up.”
Outfits of note among those actually at the ceremony included Billy Porter’s tuxedo that flowed out into a full-skirted gown from the waist, Jason Momoa’s pink velevet tux, Gemma Chan’s voluminous pink Valentino number, and best actress Olivia Colman’s green Prada dress with a sweeping train.
