Yahoo News So, Which of the ‘Perfect Match’ Season 2 Couples Are Still Together?
Perfect Match, aka the spiciest dating show on Netflix, is officially back for season 2. The reality series brings together a cast of recognizable faces from the likes of Too Hot to Handle, Dated and Related, and Love Is Blind. In the show, the contestants aim to couple up each night to try and find their 'perfect match.' Each day, the couples are given compatibility tests, with the winning pair sent on a luxury date *and* also given the option to pick two new bombshells to send on dates with people already in the villa.
The first six episodes of the new season dropped on June 7, and so far, we have the following five couples:
Harry Jowsey and Jessica Vestal
Stevan Ditter and Alara Taneri
Justin Assada and Elys Hutchinson
Kaz Bishop and Micah Lussier
Chris Hahn and Tolú Ekundare
But which, if any, of the couples are still together? Here's what we know so far.
Harry Jowsey and Jessica Vestal
Relationship status: Not together (we think)
Too Hot to Handle's Harry Jowsey entered the villa on day one and quickly struck up a connection with Too Hot to Handle winner Elys Hutchinson. The pair got on well initially, but then Harry was sent on a date with Love Is Blind's Jessica Vestal.
Harry told Jessica his connection with Elys was just a "friendship," and he proceeded to match with Jessica that same evening. Harry said he loved Jessica's mature outlook, but the pair struggled when their fellow cast members questioned Harry's intentions. Like, even his best friend Dom Gabriel questioned whether Harry was on the show for the right reasons. Jessica sweetly comforted Harry after this, and as of yet, that's the last big update we've seen from them.
The show was reportedly filmed in August 2023, and so far neither Jessica nor Harry has confirmed if their relationship is still going on.
After Jessica's appearance on Love Is Blind season 6 earlier this year (which was actually filmed in March 2023), TMZ released photos of Harry and Jessica together on a beach and claimed they were taken in September 2023.
However, Harry then appeared on Dancing With the Stars and has since revealed he was in a relationship while on the show but it broke down while he was on it. He hasn't confirmed if it was Jessica he was referring to.
Aaaaaand after her season of Love Is Blind aired in March 2024, Jessica said she was currently single, so it's not looking good for these two.
Stevan Ditter and Alara Taneri
Relationship status: Still together (we think)
Too Hot to Handle's Stevan Ditter entered the villa on day one, but didn't form a strong connection until he was sent on a date with Dated and Related's Alara Taneri. The two hit it off instantly and so far seem to be one of the strongest relationships on the show.
However, in the trailer for the next set of episodes, Alara is seen getting upset over Stevan kissing another woman. So what's the situation? Well, right now the two can't confirm their relationship status until the series is over, so we'll have to wait for the final episodes to find out.
Justin Assada and Elys Hutchinson
Relationship status: Still together (we think)
Elys from Too Hot to Handle has been in Perfect Match since day one when she was initially paired up with Harry. However, after he chose to couple up with Jessica, Elys was left single and paired up with her friend Chris.
Then, she was sent on a date with Justin from Surviving Paradise. It's still pretty early days for the duo, but so far they seem to be getting on well. Right now, they can't confirm if they're still together until the series is over so we'll have to wait for the next episodes to drop.
Kaz Bishop and Micah Lussier
Relationship status: Still together (we think)
Kaz Bishop from Dated and Related, and Micah Lussier from Love Is Blind both entered the villa on day one but pursued other connections first before getting together.
They've been a pretty strong couple so far, and have won one compatibility challenge as well. However, in the most recent episode, their relationship was put to the test with the arrival of Holly Scarfone from Too Hot to Handle. Kaz and Holly got on very well during their clay mud date, leading Micah and Kaz to argue in the evening with Micah calling Kaz a "liar."
Episode 6 ended on a cliffhanger of Kaz not choosing his match for the evening, so are they still together? We'll have to wait for next week's episodes to find out.
Chris Hahn and Tolú Ekundare
Relationship status: Still together (we think)
Dated and Related's Chris Hahn and The Trust's Tolú Ekundare are one of the more recent couples in the villa. At first, they were just friends, and then Tolú dared Chris to do a lap dance with the girl he fancied most and he picked her. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Except, erm, Chris got sent on a date with Too Hot to Handle's Melinda Melrose and considered switching matches. However, in the most recent episode, Chris and Tolú chose to pair up for another night.
Right now, the two haven't revealed anything on their social media to suggest what their relationship statuses are. Sooooo technically, as the show is going they're still together.
