Person 'seriously injured' after car and motorbike crash on Carlton Road in Worksop

A person is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a car and a motorbike in a Nottinghamshire town. Nottinghamshire Police says officers were called to Carlton Road in Worksop following the serious collision at around 4.55pm on Saturday (June 22).

Police say one of the individuals involved in the incident has been taken to hospital with serious injuries. The road was blocked off following the incident, with police saying: "Motorists are advised to avoid Carlton Road, Worksop, following a serious collision.

"Parts of Carlton Road have been closed and are expected to remain so for some time." The road eventually fully reopened around five hours later.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact the police on 101. People should quote incident number 525 of June 22 if contacting police.
