Person seriously injured after Taw Bridge crash in Barnstaple

A person is believed to be seriously injured after a crash in Barnstaple yesterday (Wednesday, May 15). Devon and Cornwall Police were called to the A361 at Taw Bridge at around 5pm.

The road was closed following the crash which involved two vehicles. Police said one person was rushed to hospital with potentially serious injuries.

Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police were notified at around 5pm on Wednesday 15 May to reports of a collision involving two vehicles on the A361 at Taw Bridge.
