Peter Andre has dropped a bombshell on his fans, announcing he's gearing up to enter the boxing ring with British pro boxer Tommy Fury. The singer and former I'm a Celebrity contestant excitedly shared the news on Instagram with a video, exclaiming: "Tommy Fury has challenged me to a fight. Does he know what he's in for?"

Andre, a father-of-five, didn't hold back his enthusiasm as he continued: "He's an old friend but yeah, getting in the ring. An Aussie and a Brit, let's see what happens."

He even threw in a playful taunt, saying: "No, you know what? I'm gonna look him straight in the eye and go, 'Tommy, huh, you wana fight an Aussie, huh?" Fury, 25, was seen in a green vest and shorts as he responded: "Hi." As the video cut back to Peter, the singer-turned-reality star said: "Look mate, there's a bar down the road if you want to... I just want to buy you a... Tommy!"

Both Fury and Andre could then be seen practising their moves on punch bags as Peter looked very worried when the professional took a swing at the bag. As the lads held their fists up, the screen faded to black with the words Andre vs Fury being on display. Taking to the comments, Peter said: "Who's ready for this one?"

"Team Pete," said one fan. A second went on to write: "Don't risk that handsome face!" "Looking gorgeous Pete but don't ruin that beautiful face of yours," gushed another. The fight appears to be in honour of Soccer Aid and comes after Tommy left Soccer Aid fans in hysterics over the weekend.

Tommy, 25, played for the World XI alongside stars like Roman Kemp, Jason Manford, Tony Bellew and Usain Bolt, as well as ex-footballers Eden Hazard, Roberto Carlos and Petr Cech in this year's match, which aimed to raise funds for UNICEF . Unfortunately, Tommy's team were defeated by England, with the final score being 6-3.

This marked Tommy's second year playing at Soccer Aid, but fans were quick to slam his performance on the pitch. He suffered two big blunders after being brought on as a sub. He stepped up to take a throw-in, but instead of throwing it over his head, he performed an underarm throw. Photos and videos of the moment were shared on social media, with fans questioning Tommy's understanding of football. For the latest TV & Showbiz news, sign up to our newsletter.
