Peter Andre's wife Emily finally reveals baby girl's name after month-long struggle

Peter Andre and his wife Emily MacDonagh have finally revealed the name of their newborn daughter, nearly a month after her birth. The couple, who had previously shared their struggle to decide on a name for their baby girl, have now announced that they've chosen the name Arabella.

Emily shared adorable photos of their daughter on social media, telling her 578k followers: "It's taken a while but after lots of deliberation we've finally decided. Arabella Rose Andrea."

The announcement was met with an outpouring of support from fans, with one commenting: "Beautiful," and another adding: "Stunning name."

Previously, the couple had admitted they were finding it difficult to agree on a name, with Peter revealing they had been affectionately referring to their daughter as "Bubba," in the meantime. Last month, the singer told his 1.9 million followers that both Athena and Charlie were potential names.

He said: "Athena is also in the running. Not sure how Ems feels about it but I LOVE it.", reports Wales Online.

He also responded to another fan, saying: "Charlotte is also in the running. I like Charlie."

Peter Andre has been engaging with his fans over the challenge of choosing a name for his new baby, as the deadline for registration draws near. In a heartfelt video last month, he was seen holding his newborn and expressed his deep affection: "The love I have for our baby is one thing. The love I have for Emily is another love altogether."

He continued to praise his wife Emily's role as a mother: "What an incredible mum she is and what a truly beautiful gift she has given us. We all love bubba so much. And she STILL has no name."

In an exclusive with WalesOnline, Peter revealed his fondness for the Welsh name Seren. When presented with Welsh names, Peter showed particular interest. His reaction to the suggestion of Seren, which translates to 'star', was positive: "I love that! ".

Peter, father to Amelia, 10, Theo, seven, Junior, 18, and Princess, 16, from previous relationships, and now Arabella, born on Tuesday, April 2, has always shared his family life with the public.
