Peter Capaldi has been revealed as one of Graham Norton's guests when The Graham Norton Show returns to BBC One next month.

We're hoping that Capaldi will discuss more about his decision to leave Doctor Who when he joins Graham on the sofa on Friday, April 14.

Capaldi has already given some word on his exit, with a statement that was certainly not lacking in praise.

"From our brilliant crew and creative team working for the best broadcaster on the planet, to the viewers and fans whose endless creativity, generosity and inclusiveness points to a brighter future ahead.

"I can't thank everyone enough. It's been cosmic."

But we're keen to hear more details on how he came to the decision, as well as details on the upcoming tenth series and the first appearance of new companion Bill (Pearl Mackie) when Doctor Who returns to BBC One on Saturday, April 15.

Appearing alongside Capaldi is the receiver of 14 Oscar nominations Warren Beatty – who will surely shed some more light on last month's Best Picture fiasco at the Oscars – as well as telling us all about his new film Rules Don't Apply.

Also featuring on Graham's sofa are Miranda Hart, discussing her upcoming debut West End performance as Miss Hannigan in Annie, as well as Keeley Hawes who will be dropping in to talk about her 1930s TV series The Durrells.
