Morocco sent shockwaves at the World Cup with a huge upset over Belgium while a rampant Croatia ensured Canada is the second team to crash out of the tournament. Costa Rica defeated Japan while Germany salvaged a draw against Spain.

Captain Keysher Fuller curled the only goal into the back of the net to secure the win for Los Ticos, just days after they were hammered by Spain 7-0.
The two teams are levelled with three points after two matches with qualification to the knockout rounds to be decided in the final group games.
Japan goes up against Spain while Costa Rica faces Germany.
Japan is playing in its seventh consecutive World Cup but has lost each time they made the round of 16. Costa Rica was a quarterfinalist in 2014 in Brazil.

Belgium hasn't lost a group game in the World Cup since 1994, but now their hope for qualification for the last 16 has been severely dented.
There was a bizarre moment when Morocco's starting goalkeeper, who was named in the lineup, came out with the team and sang the national anthem before kickoff, but the reserve keeper was in front of goal when the game started.
Belgium's loss did not go down well with some fans who resorted to rioting in several cities in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Croatia 4 - 1 Canada
Canada scored the fastest goal at the current World Cup but they were thoroughly beaten by Croatia 4-1 in Group F.
As a result, Canada became the second team eliminated from the knockouts after host Qatar.
Croatia will play Belgium next in their final group game.

Germany is still rooted at the bottom of their group but boosted their hopes for a place in the last 16.
Germany must now defeat Costa Rica and hope Spain beat Japan to advance.
