Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian performs in Singapore for the first time

Popular Australian singer-songwriter Guy Sebastian performed for the first time in Singapore at an MTV live recording session, in front of over 250 fans on Monday evening. The show took place at Resorts World Sentosa’s Waterfront Studio, where the Australian Idol winner sang hits such as “Battle Scars”, “Who’s That Girl” and his latest single “Like A Drum”. The 32-year-old Malaysia-born artiste also sang a cover of “Thrift Shop”, which was originally sung by UK duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, and surprised fans with a duet with back-up singer Carmen Smith for the song “Art Of Love”.

Passenger Bus Crashes Into Saint Petersburg River
A bus crashed off a bridge and into the Moyka River in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on Friday, May 10, with local police saying around 20 people were on board.Local media reported that at least five people died, with four “seriously injured”.
