Tim Peake - British Astronaut Prepares For Lift-Off

Astronaut Tim Peake will tomorrow become the first Briton to undertake a mission on the International Space Station. The 43-year-old will launch from a base in Kazakhstan alongside two other NASA astronauts for their six-month operation. He was chosen to join the European Astronaut Corps in 2008, and has undergone rigorous and grueling training to get ready for his mission. These pictures show some of the preparations for lift-off.
