A couple have found a unique way to document their life together - using a collection of photobooth pictures taken annually over the course of their relationship.

Giles Paley-Phillips, 36, and his wife, Michelle, 32, first popped into one of the public machines in October 2000, when they were just a month into their courtship.

The experience formed a bond between the pair, both from Seaford, East Sussex, and they found themselves repeating it once a year, with changing hairstyles, their engagement and marriage, and the birth of their two cute children all forming part of their 14-year photo story.

The cute pictures began when Michelle was just 18, and Giles was 23, and chart their journey as a couple.

In his own words Giles, now a children's author, explains year-by-year the circumstances he and Michelle, an autoCAD technician for a design company, found themselves when the annual flash went off.

The couple have endured hardships, including lean periods of redundancy and cramped living conditions, but a strong family bond, as well as a love for photobooths, has seen them flourish together.
