Pierce Brosnan Gives Glimpse at 'Joyful' Father's Day, Says Wife and Kids 'Give Me Wings to Fly'

His wife, Keely Shaye Smith, also shared a sentimental Father's Day tribute to the star writing, "What a privilege it is to be loved by you and to raise our boys together..."

Pierce Brosnan is feeling thankful on Father’s Day!

The Out-Laws actor, 71, shared a glimpse into how he celebrated the holiday on Instagram alongside a heartfelt note, in which he thanked his family for showing him so much “love.”

Pierce reposted a photo taken by his wife, Keely Shaye Brosnan, which showed himself carrying a pot of sunflowers, which appeared to be a gift from his family. The father of five beamed happily as he posed for the camera.

“Thank you dear family for filling my life with your love,” he captioned the photo. “You give me wings to fly. I love you all dearly. It was a joyful Father’s Day.”

Keely, 60, shared her own tribute to the actor in a separate Instagram post. She wrote, “Happy Father’s Day my love. You fill our lives with endless beauty, curiosity, joy and sunshine.”

“Thank you for your love, patience, wisdom, commitment and generosity. What a privilege it is to be loved by you and to raise our boys together, beside you, and with you,” she continued, referring to their sprawling family. (The actor shares sons Christopher, 51, and Sean, 40, with his first wife, the late actress Cassandra Harris, and sons Dylan, 27, and Paris, 23, with Keely.)

“Hope you had a memorable day! ✨,” she wrote. “And Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful men who unconditionally love their children and are present for them and their families. May god bless you and protect you.”

She concluded the caption by giving “extra love to all those who are missing their fathers today,” and wished her “own father in heaven” a “Happy Father’s Day” as well.

The Father's Day celebration comes one month after the James Bond star celebrated his 71st birthday, and thanked fans on social media for their birthday wishes.

"Brand new day. Thank you one and all for your rewarding words of celebration for my work and my seventy first birthday last week," he wrote. "Where does the time go these days? It goes with the speed of flame. Love life, kindness and precious time be with us all. Peace."

His wife, whom he met in 1994 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and married in 2001, also shared a throwback photo of him seemingly on vacation as she celebrated his special day.

"Happy Birthday to the love of my life @piercebrosnanofficial," Keely captioned the photo. "You are my rock, my anchor, my everything … and I love you endlessly."
