'Piper Doon': Scotland Fan Takes a Tumble Before Euro 2024 Opening Game

One bagpipe-playing Scotland fan took a wee tumble as he warmed up for his country’s opening game of Euro 2024 at a bar in Munich.

Scotland face tournament hosts Germany on Friday, June 14, and proud countryman David Honeyman was among the Tartan Army ranks as they chanted alongside a bagpiper in the bar on Wednesday evening.

Unfortunately, as Honeyman’s footage shows, the gentleman piper took a tumble to the ground while standing on a bench at the bar.

Sharing the “piper doon” footage with Storyful, Honeyman said the musician’s name was Bob, and commended the “legend” for getting back up and carrying on. Credit: David Honeyman via Storyful
